Summer and Fall Rowing Camps in MD/DC/VA area
Many of our High School rowers (and sometimes parents) participate in summer or falling rowing opportunities in the area and can share their experiences with rowers. Summer Camp enrollment usually begins late winter. If you are interested, and need guidance discuss the options with your coach. Review and click the links to learn more:

Virginia Wahoo Rowing Camp for Boys
*New* - Sculling 101: Introduction to Sculling (Adult Beginners): This program is appropriate for individuals with little to no previous rowing or sculling experience. In this 4-week program you will learn the basics of rowing, including: the elements of the technical sculling stroke, boat handling, water safety, rowing terms, equipment care and plenty of time on the water. This class is limited to eight students.
Beginning Sculling for Sweep Rowers - geared towards those with little or no sculling experience but with at least one year of sweep rowing experience. Topics include: the elements of the technical sculling stroke, equipment care and plenty of time on the water. View the Sandy run website for more info.
